The FBHS Techhive SkillsUSA Club gears its members towards an in-depth learning experience while fostering creativity through teamwork, school spirit, community service & competition. Each member is required to adhere to a higher level of academic standing. We work as a team, play as a team, compete as a team and succeed as a Team!
FBHS SkillsUSA Club wishes to share the importance of engineering, science & technology skills, leadership, community service, fundraising, school/team spirit, team work, sportsmanship & the importance of Education.











The Members take part in SkillsUSA program. SkillsUSA provides their Members will additional ways to excel in technology, leadership & industrial careers. Members of SkillsUSA compete in a variety of skill & leadership competitions. Members may also earn the right to build a special project utilized to compete with others from across the State or just expand their knowledge in their chosen career field. SkillsUSA is a technical & skills based competition, members compete in hands on and written tests on their chosen skill/leadership contest.
The Flour Bluff BEST Robotics Team is comprised of technology & robotics enthusiasts. The goal of the BEST Robotics Team is to design, build and implement at Robot that will perform a specific mission at competition. Included in the competition is a table display, oral presentation, web site, school/team spirit, team work, sportsmanship and most important a Engineering Journal. Team is the most Important aspect of this competition!
(We are not participating in the ‘08-’09 Best Robotics)
